- Accepted by 2nd RSAB High Command as long as loyalty is to 2nd RSAB and individual's unit comes first before loyalty to societies
- Established as a way to expand and deepen the society outside of the military support role
- Some societies are open where anyone can join, others are by invitation only
- Some societies require members belong only to that society while others allow multiple memberships
- Have dress codes, customs, social gatherings, group goals, etc..
- Must contribute to the culture of the 2nd RSAB
- Large range of commitment and seriousness required - Samurai Clans vs. Team Fan Clubs for example
