- Independent regiments always have at least one Assault DropShip attached to their DropShip unit
- Hussar and Dragoon Regiments have a single LAM lance attached to the command unit
- Light Horse Regiments have a LAM company
- There are several independent LAM companies that can be attached (either at the company or lance level) to existing units - these independent LAM companies are considered part of the front-line units
- All independent regiments have a DropShip lift capacity of approximately 20% greater than required to actually lift all units in the regiment
- All independent regiments have at least one "scout" class JumpShip attached to their JumpShip unit
- All units with a "Mobile HQ" unit also have a DropShip that contains HQ facilities appropriate to the unit and also transports a mobile version.
